Chhatarpur. A truck hit an auto going to Bageshwar Dham from Chhatarpur railway station. In this accident on Jhansi Khajuraho Highway NH 39, 5 people died on the spot, while two people died during treatment in the hospital. More than six people were injured. This accident happened on Tuesday at around 5 am. A large number of devotees got down at Chhatarpur station and left for Bageshwar Dham in autos.
The auto operator had overloaded the passengers. Then after reaching Kadari, auto no. UP 95 AT 2421 collided with truck no. PB 13 BB 6479 on the highway. Children and elderly people are also among the dead. As soon as the information of the accident was received, the police reached the spot and the injured were immediately taken to the district hospital. The condition of some of the injured is said to be critical. There were around 12 to 15 people in the auto. In the past few months, many accidents have happened while going to and coming from Bageshwar Dham. Many people have lost their lives in these accidents. People have to pay the price of overloading autos by giving their lives.
