If an employee is facing any problem in claiming insurance from ILOE, then the employee can take his complaint to the Ministry. The Ministry will investigate the matter and ensure a solution.
Benefits and Eligibility
Category 1: Employees with a basic salary of Dh16,000 or less
- Insurance premium: Dh5 per month
- Maximum monthly compensation: Dh10,000
Category 2: Employees with a basic salary of more than Dh16,000
- Insurance premium: Dh10 per month
- Maximum monthly compensation: Dh20,000
To receive insurance compensation, the employee must join the scheme for at least 12 continuous months. The process will be completed within two weeks of submitting the claim. Compensation will be given only for three months, provided the employee has not been dismissed for disciplinary reasons and has not resigned on his own.
