Decision taken to provide relief to workers
In the United Arab Emirates, a work ban has been implemented from June 15 to provide relief to workers from the scorching heat. Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) is reviewing all the preparations related to the midday break.
What is Midday Break?
Actually, due to the extreme heat in the Gulf countries, it is not possible for any employee to work in harsh sun or direct sunlight. This also deteriorates their health. In such a situation, for their safety, it is necessary to make such rules which can protect them. Keeping this in mind, the rule of mid-day break has been made.
Let us tell you that this rule is going to be in effect from Saturday 15 June to 15 September from 12:30 pm to 3 pm. It has been clearly stated that if any person violates these rules, then several actions will be taken against him.
