Hyderabad. The husband who divorced his wife over phone and reached his in-laws’ house on her call was stabbed in the neck. 30-year-old husband Anwar Raja was seriously injured in the incident. He has been admitted to PJMCH in Dumka. The incident took place at Murgi Mor in Masalia on Saturday afternoon.
However, her parents say that Anwar slit his own throat. Murgi Mod resident Anwar Raja was married to Tabassum Noori of the village in 2017. After marriage, Tabassum started having conflicts with her in-laws. Anwar is a tailor in Hyderabad. Three months ago, he divorced his wife Tabassum Noori over the phone from Hyderabad. After this, Tabassum’s father Qadir Raja brought her home, but Anwar remained in touch with his wife. They also have two children. Anwar came home after the divorce.
Anwar wanted to marry Tabassum again. A panchayat was also called regarding this. Meanwhile, Anwar’s sister Rehana Khatoon said that her brother has been ill for two days. Bhabhi Tabassum Noori called Anwar on phone on Saturday afternoon. Anwar went straight to his in-laws’ house, where Tabassum jokingly asked him to close his eyes. Anwar closed his eyes. Meanwhile, Tabassum stabbed him in the neck with a knife. Anwar informed the family about the incident. Tabassum’s family says that it was Anwar Raja who called Tabassum to the farm. Despite the divorce, he wanted to take her to his house, but Tabassum refused to go to his house. On her refusal to go home, Anwar Raja himself slit her throat with a knife. Meanwhile, Masalia police station in-charge Anil Kumar Tudu has reached the spot and started investigation.
