Wayanad accident: Dead bodies are being found in villages and forests, 308 people have died so far

Wayanad. So far 308 people have died in the landslide accident in Wayanad. During the rescue operation, bodies are being found from villages and forests. Here relief and rescue work is going on on a war footing. Rescue workers have found only 195 bodies so far. The death of the rest of the people has been confirmed from their body parts. That is, some part of the body of 105 people has been recovered, which confirms their death.

25 ambulances will be transported to Mundakai through the Bailey bridge built by the army after the accident. A drone-based radar is coming from Delhi on Saturday to locate the bodies buried in the soil. The help of 6 dogs is also being taken in the search operation. Today 4 more dogs will be brought from Tamil Nadu. 40 teams are engaged in rescuing people. There is talk of dividing the search area into 6 different parts to make the rescue operation effective. The first area among these is made up of Attamala and Aranmala. The second area is Mundakai, the third area is Punjarimattam, the fourth area is Vellaramala Village Road, the fifth area is GVHSS Vellaramala and the sixth area is the river flow area. Three local people and one forest department employee will also be included with each team. Apart from this, policemen from 8 police stations around the Chaliyar river and people who are experts in swimming are also going to search. Apart from this, search operation is also being conducted through helicopters. Forest department personnel along with the Coast Guard and the Navy are also going to search the places where there is a possibility of bodies floating.

Let us tell you that the first landslide in Wayanad happened at around 2 am on the morning of July 30. After this, a landslide happened again at around 4.10 am. With this, a landslide happened for the third time. In the landslide, 4 villages of Wayanad turned into a pile of rubble, from which rescue operations are being carried out continuously to evacuate people. With the progress of the rescue operation, the death toll is constantly increasing.
