Flight connectivity from Jabalpur should be increased soon

Jabalpur. A conference of Air Service Struggle Committee was organized on Sunday to establish Jabalpur on the national map of air service. In which a large number of representatives of organizations from Jabalpur as well as other districts, representatives of industry and trade sector, medical startups, youth, senior citizens, women etc. were present who unanimously demanded that flight connectivity from Jabalpur should be started soon.

Himanshu Khare, the convener of Air Service Struggle Committee, said that the main purpose of organizing this conference is to connect the citizens of the cities around Jabalpur so that they can also actively join this movement. In his speech, he said that the coming time is of competition, the city from which the demand will increase rapidly and if that route is profitable, then the airlines will turn to that route. Currently only five air services operate from Jabalpur, which used to be 16 at one time. He said that this struggle is of every person who is a citizen of Jabalpur because air services are now not a thing of luxury but of public use.

Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar Association President DK Jain said that the advocates have full support in this struggle because in the profession of advocacy, advocates have to travel a lot from one city to another. Due to the lack of flights, a big obstacle and problem is being felt in this. Doctor Dr. Pawan Sthaphak said that if the flight connectivity is good then the lives of patients can be saved, people go to Mumbai, Delhi and other cities for treatment via Nagpur or Bhopal, but now due to lack of flight connectivity, serious patients will have to struggle for their treatment. Jabalpur District Bar Association President Manish Mishra said that in the absence of flights from big cities, advocates also have to face a lot of difficulties, he promised to give his organization’s support to the campaign of Air Service Struggle Committee. Manohar Sahu of Narsinghpur Chamber said that Narsinghpur district is dependent on Jabalpur for many of its arrangements and due to lack of air services, the businessmen there are also facing problems.

Former MLA Sanjay Yadav said on this occasion that people elect their representatives and if the same people’s representatives do not stand in the public’s movement and in their pain and suffering, then it is very shameful and unfortunate. Ashok Rajput of Gadarwara Chamber also assured his support in the movement and cooperation of the traders of his area. Jabalpur City Congress Committee President Saurabh Sharma said that the Congress Party and its workers are with the committee in its struggle and this movement should continue till the demand of air connectivity of Jabalpur is not fulfilled. CAT State Vice President Jitendra Pachauri, Anju Bhargava, CREDAI President Dhiresh Khare, Dr. PG Najpande, Congress Lok Sabha candidate Dinesh Yadav also addressed everyone.

Arif Beg, Himanshu Rai, Ajit Pawar, Preeti Chaudhary, Nitin Bhatnagar, Tanmay Chaudhary, Rajput etc. helped in making the conference successful.
