Instructions issued by Awqaf
On Wednesday, the General Authority for Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat (Awqaf) announced the start of registration for the next Hajj season Hajj 2025, stating that the registration for 2025 will begin in September 2024.
How can I submit my registration?
Officials have informed that pilgrims should use the authority’s smart application and website for registration. This year around 1.8 million pilgrims participated in Hajj.
Hajj Permit is issued only for Emiratis in UAE
It has been informed by the officials that Hajj permits in UAE are issued only to Emiratis. Expatriates should use Hajj quota for Hajj permit. It has also been advised that they should take the help of a licensed tour operator for Hajj. You can check the list of recognized tour operators from the website of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments.
