Update released for drivers
An update has been issued for drivers in the United Arab Emirates. Ras Al Khaimah Police General Command is taking legal action against those who change lanes suddenly. The police has started a traffic safety campaign with the help of which people are being made aware that it is important to follow traffic rules.
Sudden lane change can be dangerous
It has been informed by the authorities that suddenly changing lanes can prove to be very dangerous for the drivers. Many times people use the phone, use social media or take photos while driving. Doing this can prove to be very dangerous, so never make such a mistake.
Heavy fines will be imposed for wrongly changing lanes. This increases the chances of accidents. Therefore, the accused will be fined Dh200.
