Pakistan’s nefarious act, sending light drones on the border, BSF intercepted them

Jalandhar, (EMS). Pakistan is not stopping its activities. Along with Jammu and Kashmir, it is now adopting new methods to push Punjab into the pit of drugs. Pakistan is using high-tech drones for drug smuggling, which are not easily caught. BSF has found a way to counter this act. BSF Inspector General Atul Fulzele said that smuggling is being done by Pakistan using new technology drones. He said that the size of the drones coming from across the border is small and they fly only up to a height of one kilometer, which is difficult to track.

At the BSF headquarters in Jalandhar, the IG said that about 137 drones were caught since the beginning of January this year. Weapons, pistols, 2 AK-47 rifles and more than 160 kg of heroin were caught through them. He said that smuggling through land and underground, especially through pipes, has become negligible in recent years. The use of drones has increased nowadays for smuggling of weapons and drugs. The IG said that all the drones caught are being examined in the lab. Almost all the drones have been made in China but all these drones are quite advanced. The drones that were caught earlier used to make noise and their payload capacity was only 3-4 kg. It could be seen at a height, but the new drones weigh 500 grams and they do not even make a sound. The army is working on new technology to catch them.
