After Shinde faction MP Ravindra Waikar got a clean chit in Maharashtra, Uddhav faction Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut said that now Dawood is yet to get a clean chit. Sanjay Raut said that now only Dawood is yet to get a clean chit. He claimed that Ravindra Waikar left Uddhav Thackeray and joined the Shinde faction out of fear of ED. Raut said that fake cases are filed against our people and efforts are made to put pressure on us. In this, some people go to them out of fear.

Attacking Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Raut said that he too had gone with them out of fear. BJP should accept that we have filed a case against them to create fear. Raut said that EOW says that they had filed a case against Waikar on the basis of incomplete information and misunderstanding, so Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis should take action against those officials of EOW.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole said that now there is no point in talking much on the Waikar case. We already knew about this when Waikar switched sides and joined the ruling party before the Lok Sabha elections. Patole said that therefore there is no surprise in the fact that the Mumbai Police has given him a clean chit and closed the file.

Let us tell you that in March 2023, Ravindra Waikar was in Uddhav Sena. Then BJP leader and former MP Kirit Somaiya had accused Waikar of taking land from BMC in the name of Matoshree Arts and Sports Trust located on Jogeshwari-Vikhroli Link Road. Waikar is building a five-star hotel on the same land. Somaiya had demanded BMC and the state government to stop it. At that time Somaiya had alleged a scam of Rs 500 crore in this matter. After Somaiya’s allegation, BMC sent a notice to Waikar in February 2023 seeking clarification. Waikar responded to Somaiya’s allegation. The entire matter was being investigated by the EOW.
