Madhya Pradesh festival is being organized for the first time in Delhi


New Delhi. Madhya Pradesh is a rich state in terms of culture, history, archeology, tribal heritage, tourism, art, lifestyle and various cuisines etc. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said this while inaugurating the Madhya Pradesh Utsav at Madhya Pradesh Bhawan in Delhi.
CM Dr. Yadav, while inaugurating the Madhya Pradesh festival on Friday, said that a unique 4-day Madhya Pradesh festival has been organized in the country’s capital to introduce the people of Delhi and other states to the rich cultural heritage of the heart of the country (Madhya Pradesh). On the initiative of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Madhya Pradesh festival has been organized on a large scale for the first time in Delhi, which will run from 30 August to 2 September. CM Dr. Yadav said that the organization of Madhya Pradesh festival will give Delhiites and tourists from other states an opportunity to know the rich culture and other aspects of Madhya Pradesh, the heartland of the country. Visitors will not only know and understand the rich heritage of the state but will also be able to enjoy the special dishes made in different regions of Madhya Pradesh full of diversity, including the dishes made from Srianna in Super Food.
Exhibition showcasing heritage
CM Dr. Yadav said that the Department of Archaeology has done excellent work in the state. The department is successfully carrying out the challenging task of restoring ancient dilapidated temples and shrines. He praised the ‘Heritage of Madhya Pradesh’ exhibition organized by the Directorate of Archaeology, Archives and Museum. In the exhibition organized in Madhya Pradesh Utsav, on one hand, Gond artists’ paintings have been honored and on the other hand, an innovative effort has been made to make everyone aware of the 10 thousand year old Bhimbetka rock paintings.

CM Dr. Yadav also took a selfie at the selfie point of the Public Relations Department’s exhibition. While praising the exhibition, he wrote in the visitor’s book that the Madhya Pradesh Utsav has been organised in a very good and appropriate manner, congratulations. Sports and Youth Welfare and Cooperation Minister Vishwas Sarang and officials and spectators were also present in this programme.
