Eid Al Adha holidays will be decided in the United Arab Emirates based on moon sighting. It has been informed that residents will be given 4 to 5 days leave on this basis. On this occasion, one day holiday has been announced for Arafah Day and three days for Eid Al Adha festival.

Let us tell you that employees will be given leave on this occasion based on the Hijri calendar months. It has been told that most of the Arabic countries including UAE are talking about moon sighting on the 29th Hijri calendar of Dhul Qa’adah i.e. 6 June.

The new month may start from 7 or 8 June

That means the next month will start on 7 June. If this does not happen then the next month will start on 8 June. Eid holiday will be celebrated on this basis. Based on astronomical calculations, it is believed that moon sighting will happen on 6 June.
