How can voting happen without violence in Bengal? Bengal has a record of violence in every election. Due to which common people have now started saying this phrase. During the voting in the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections, there was a lot of violence in West Bengal. Lathi charge was done at some places and bombs were thrown at other places. TMC has been accused of attacking ISF and CPIM workers and supporters in Satulia area of ​​Bhangar, which comes under Jadavpur Lok Sabha constituency in West Bengal. TMC supporters are accused of attacking with bombs. Several ISF workers and supporters were allegedly injured in this incident. Additional security forces were sent to the spot. They resorted to lathi charge to push back the crowd gathered in front of the booth. EVM and VVPAT machines were allegedly thrown into the water by the crowd at booth number 40-41 in Kultai, South 24 Parganas, West Bengal. According to information received from local people, voters have allegedly been threatened by TMC supporters. This agitated the crowd and they threw the EVMs into the pond.

Elections were held on 57 seats…

It is noteworthy that in the last phase of the Lok Sabha elections, voting is being held on 57 seats in seven states and one union territory on Saturday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Varanasi seat is also included in this. The seats on which voting is being held today include 13 seats each in Punjab and UP, 9 seats in West Bengal, 8 seats in Bihar, 6 seats in Odisha, 4 seats in Himachal Pradesh, 3 seats in Jharkhand and one Chandigarh seat.

Prem Kumar Dhumal, father of former Himachal Pradesh CM and BJP candidate from Hamirpur Lok Sabha seat Anurag Thakur, said after voting, I want to appeal to the people to come out of their homes and exercise their right to vote. I hope he (Anurag Thakur) will win for the fifth time and serve the people of Hamirpur and the country. Kangana Ranaut, BJP candidate from Mandi Lok Sabha constituency of Himachal Pradesh, said after voting, I have just cast my vote. I want to appeal to the people to participate in the festival of democracy and exercise their right to vote.
