It is the responsibility of NDA allies to promote the policy of taking everyone along: Saadatullah Hussaini

Syed Saadatullah Hussaini, the national president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, a prominent organization in the Indian Muslim community, while giving his opinion on the results of the Lok Sabha elections, said that “Now it is the responsibility of the NDA allies to promote the policy of taking everyone along, while opposing every step that divides the society.”
Mr Hussaini said that the results of the Lok Sabha elections have forced the communal parties to think. At the same time, it has spread a new ray of hope among the parties and organizations with secular ideology in the country.
Addressing a press conference organised at the headquarters of Jamaat-e-Islami, he spoke on several issues and spoke on several important points while answering media questions about the recently held Lok Sabha elections. The press conference was also addressed by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Vice President Malik Mutasim Khan and Professor Salim Engineer. The programme was organised by Jamaat Media Assistant Secretary Salman Ahmed.
Regarding the election results, he said that we consider the election results a strong mandate against the politics of hatred and division. ‘Jamaat-e-Islami Hind congratulates the people of India for their enthusiastic and active participation in the electoral process.
Talking about political parties and governance system, Saadatullah Hussaini said that we appeal to all political parties to learn from this mandate and stay away from the politics of hatred, communalism, caste and division.
Speaking to the media, Jamaat-e-Islami said, “We strongly demand from the new government that it should stop misusing the state machinery and constitutional institutions against political or ideological opponents. Such practices weaken the principles of democracy and destroy the public’s trust in institutions.”
Advising opposition parties and NDA allies, the Jamaat-e-Islami Hind president stressed that, ‘The responsibility of NDA allies in the ruling party has increased manifold. People expect them to be vigilant, fair and responsible. ‘They should stand as torchbearers and protectors of constitutional values.
He said, “We urge these allies in power to actively promote policies that promote unity, respect and inclusion, and to stand firmly against any practices that divide our society.”
Syed Saadatullah Hussaini appreciated the important role of the poor, farmers, labourers, backward classes and minorities in the elections.
