Muzaffarpur. A case that shames humanity has come to light from Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, where the village bullies stripped a Mahadalit couple and beat them. Not only this, there are allegations that the bullies also urinated on the woman’s husband. However, this has not been confirmed yet. The case is from Silaut Vishunpur.

According to the victim Sanjit Manjhi, a wedding procession was to come to the Mahadalit Tola for the marriage of a neighbour’s daughter. To ensure that the wedding party does not face any difficulty, the residents of the Tola had made the muddy footpath walkable by adding mud. The accused who arrived with the attackers regarding this dispute beat up the victims sitting at Brahmsthan using casteist slurs and attacked them on the head with a knife.

At the same time, the wife of the victim who reached the spot was also stripped and beaten. In the incident of assault, the victim has also accused the bullies of urinating in his mouth. On hearing the noise made by the victim, on seeing the villagers coming, all the bullies fled after threatening to kill everyone by setting their houses on fire. In this case, the couple has registered an FIR in the police station against the father-son duo of the village and three unknown attackers.
