Heat wave took the lives of 45 people in 36 hours, yellow alert issued

Amidst the scorching heat, heat wave has also become an enemy of people’s lives and 45 more people have died due to heat wave in 36 hours. In this way, the total number of deaths due to heat wave has reached 87.
According to a report, 19 more people have died due to heat wave in western Odisha, 16 people have died in UP in a single day, while five people have died in Bihar, four in Rajasthan and one in Punjab. 19 deaths have occurred in Odisha in two days. Experts have blamed high temperature for the deaths. Out of the nine people who died in Jharsuguda, seven were truck drivers. Out of the 16 people who died on Friday in UP, 11 were polling personnel. Nine people died due to heatstroke in Rajasthan in the scorching heat.
Heat is wreaking havoc in Delhi. The weather department has issued a yellow alert. The maximum temperature during the day can be 42 to 43 degrees Celsius. In the yellow alert, heat wave conditions can occur at many places, meaning the heat wave will continue. The sky may also be cloudy. There is a possibility of showers along with dust storm. Experts are advising to avoid hot winds blowing at 30 to 40 km per hour. Now Delhiites can get relief only in the monsoon. If Skymet Weather is to be believed, the monsoon is moving upwards from South India. It has reached the entire north-eastern states including sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.
There has been some reduction in rain activity in Kerala, but rain continues in the northeastern states. Now rain will also intensify in Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and southern Karnataka. Temperatures may also decrease in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, UP and Delhi. The southwest monsoon is expected to reach Madhya Pradesh two days earlier by June 15.
