Customs officials of IGI Airport recovered gold worth Rs 73 lakh, 3 foreigners arrested

Three citizens arrested for smuggling gold
Three citizens have been arrested on charges of smuggling gold at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Customs officials of IGI Airport have informed that 1229 gms of gold has been recovered from the accused. The value of the recovered gold is Rs. 73 lakhs.
Three Turkmenistan citizens were arrested
Officials have informed that three Turkmenistan citizens have been arrested in this case. The arrested accused came from Ashgabat. The accused have been arrested under the Customs Act 1962. Investigation is ongoing in this case.
