Fees have increased for these migrant workers in UAE. Now they will have to pay 750 dirhams.

A major update has been issued regarding health insurance in the United Arab Emirates, stating that expatriates using the services of select health operators will have to pay more to avail the services from July 1. Insurance prices have been increased for Emirati-sponsored domestic workers under the age of 60.

It is said that the fee for their basic health insurance has been increased from Dh600 to Dh750.

Changes have been made in the basic plan for the second category as well

Officials have informed that changes have been made in the basic plan for other categories as well. Apart from this, the charges for some co-payments have also been increased. Customers may have to pay more for some other services and registration process. Employers will now have to pay more.
