Extremists are busy spreading Hindu-Muslim hatred in the country on the pretext of Bangladesh

Neighboring country Bangladesh is currently going through a serious political crisis. The students’ movement against reservation turned into a mass movement over time and as a result, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had to flee the country. The neighboring country is currently grappling with serious violence and crisis.

But the country’s extremist Hindu and right-wing supporting parties are not behind in spreading hatred against the Muslims of the country and inciting the Hindu majority under the pretext of this political crisis. Therefore, under the guise of this crisis, fake news of attacks on Hindu temples in Bangladesh is being spread on social media and it is being claimed that Muslims are attacking Hindus in Bangladesh and supporters have flooded social media with fake news of attacks.
But the truth is being told to the contrary…
Incidents of violence are being reported in the news and social media from Bangladesh and people are angry against the Awami League and attacks are being carried out on them. But there are no reports of Hindus being targeted or of organised attacks. The student organisation, which is playing a leading role in the current movement, has appealed to mosques to provide security to Hindus and other minorities.

According to reports, as the situation in Bangladesh became volatile following the fall of Sheikh Hasina’s government, Bangladeshi Muslims have shared photos of securing temples to prevent fear among other religious minorities.
The hashtag #AllEyesOnBangladeshihindus is trending on social media. Student leaders and political figures have rallied to end the violence and vandalism and demanded protection for religious minorities.
Coordinators of the Anti-Discrimination Students Movement also appealed for the safety of Hindus. Although reports suggest that Awami League members were targeted by the mob, no reports confirm attacks on Hindus.
In fact, many such pictures have surfaced on social media where a large number of Muslims are guarding Hindu temples and assuring Hindus of safety. In fact, a special announcement is also being made on the loudspeaker from inside the mosque. In which it is said that we, Students Against Discrimination, request you to maintain communal harmony in this period of unrest in the country. We have to protect the Hindu minorities. Protect their life and property from miscreants/looters. This is your responsibility, our responsibility and everyone’s responsibility.
