Chhatarpur incident: Bulldozer culture is increasing concern in the civil society of the country, MP Tankha and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi’s statement came forward

- Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has said that one who cannot perform Rajdharma can neither do the welfare of the society nor the country. She has said that bulldozer justice is completely unacceptable, it should be stopped. At the same time, Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha has said that there is no question of action against the miscreants if the police takes revengeful action and demolishes the house and car of a particular person. This is a violation of the law and constitutional rights of the country. At the same time, National President of Congress Minority Department Imran Pratapgani has shared photos of a stone pelting incident in Jharkhand and asked whether BJP will like the same justice for them as it is giving to Muslims and Dalits.
The incident that happened in Chhatarpur is in the national headlines. The civil society of the country is speaking openly on this matter. While everyone is saying that the stone pelting on the police station by the miscreants was wrong, questions are being raised on the action of demolishing the house of Shahzad Ali in Chhatarpur. Today, a question in the country is whether making the family of the accused homeless as soon as the allegation is made is justice or barbarism.
Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi, Rajya Sabha MP Vivek Tankha, National President of Congress Minority Front Imran Pratapgani have reacted to this bulldozer justice.
Police retaliatory action…violation of constitutional rights: Tankha
Rajya Sabha MP and senior lawyer Shri Vivek Tankha has also reacted on the Chhatarpur incident. He has said that there is no objection to taking action against the miscreants who pelted stones at the police station. But if the police takes revengeful action and breaks the house and car of a particular person, this is a violation of the law and constitutional rights of the country. Rajya Sabha MP and senior lawyer Vivek Krishna Tankha has reacted to the Chhatarpur incident on his social media account X.

Shri Tankha said that ‘No one can object to the appropriate police action against the rioters who pelted stones at the police station in Chhatarpur. But if the police takes revengeful action and destroys the house and car of a particular person, this is a violation of the law of the country and constitutional rights.’
Bulldozer justice must be stopped: Priyanka Gandhi
At the same time, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi has also expressed concern over the increasing bulldozer culture in the country. He has written on his social media account X that ‘If someone is accused of a crime, then only the court decides his crime and his punishment. But punishing the accused’s family as soon as the allegation is made, taking away the roof from over their heads, not following the law, disobeying the court, demolishing the house of the accused as soon as the allegation is made is not justice. This is the height of barbarism and injustice.’

He further added that, ‘There should be a difference between those who make laws, those who keep laws and those who break laws. Governments cannot behave like criminals. Following the law, constitution, democracy and humanity is the minimum condition of governance in a civilized society. One who cannot fulfill his duty can neither do good for the society nor for the country. He has said that bulldozer justice is completely unacceptable, it should be stopped.’
Imran raised questions
National President of Congress Minority Cell Imran Pratapgani He has posted a photo of stone pelting by BJP workers in Jharkhand on his social media account.

Imran wrote thatAll these stone pelters are workers of Jharkhand BJP, they are throwing stones at the police, will the Prime Minister of the country and the Chief Ministers of BJP ruled states accept the same bulldozer justice for them which they use against Muslims, Dalits and tribals.
The vanishing difference between justice, punishment and revenge…!
It is noteworthy that today there is a discussion in political, social and educational circles about the fact that Are justice, punishment and revenge the same thing? Or is there a huge difference between them? Everyone is saying that the stone pelting on the police station by the miscreants in Chhatarpur was wrong and legal action against them is necessary. But the way the house of a Congress leader was bulldozed in a hurry without any investigation. The cars parked in his house were crushed by the bulldozer, questions are being raised on that too.
The first and biggest question is whether the job of the police is to take revenge or to provide justice and punishment.
