The whole city cried over the collector’s pain, preparations for counting of votes are complete, the temperature is not coming down

Jabalpur. On Monday, every heart felt the pain of Jabalpur’s head collector Deepak Saxena. On Monday, the only topic of discussion on the lips of every city dweller was what happened to Collector Deepak Saxena’s son. After the death of Collector Deepak Saxena’s promising son Amol Saxena on Sunday, Amol’s body was brought to Jabalpur on Monday. Amol’s last journey started from the Collector’s residence at 5 pm. It reached Gwarighat Muktidham at 6 pm, where he was cremated. During this time, a large number of common citizens including personalities from administrative, political, religious, social world were present.

It is worth mentioning that 20-year-old Amol was studying film studies and script writing in Delhi. On Saturday, after getting the news that his health had deteriorated due to heat stroke, the collector called his administrative friend and Amol was taken to AIIMS Hospital in Delhi, but by then it was too late. Mr. Saxena had just reached Nagpur when he came to know that Amol was no more in this world. So he came back from Nagpur. Amol’s body reached Jabalpur in the afternoon after post-mortem. His last rites were performed here. The short PM report states that he died due to cardiac arrest (heart attack). The entire city was seen standing with the family of Collector Deepak Saxena in this hour of grief. The media world has also expressed its condolences on the death of Collector Mr. Saxena’s son.

Anay Dwivedi takes charge of Collector
After District Collector Deepak Saxena went on leave, the charge of Collector of Jabalpur district has been handed over to MD of Madhya Pradesh East Zone Electricity Distribution Company Anay Dwivedi during his leave period. He will take additional charge of Collector along with his current duties. Orders in this regard have been issued by the General Administration Department of Madhya Pradesh Government. It is worth noting that Collector Mr. Saxena is on leave due to the untimely death of his son Amol Saxena.
The mercury is crossing 42 degrees
After the departure of Nautapa, the temperature is rising again. On Monday, the mercury remained at 40 degrees. There was a strong heat wave in the afternoon. The pre-monsoon system is not ready yet. During the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature of the city was recorded at 42.01 degrees Celsius which is normal, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 29.9 degrees which is 1 degree more than normal. The highest temperature of 45.1 degrees in the state was recorded in Niwari. South-western winds blew at a speed of 5 to 6 km per hour.
A dumper full of sand overturned….
A loaded dumper overturned near Andhmuk bypass late last night. After the incident, the dumper driver fled from there. It is a matter of relief that no one was injured in this incident. According to the information, last night the dumper was going from Andhmuk Chauraha towards Dhanvantari Nagar Chauraha after loading sand. As soon as the driver turned while driving recklessly at high speed, the dumper overturned and all the sand was spread on the road. As soon as the dumper owner got the information, he reached the spot and hurriedly lifted the sand and got the dumper straightened with a crane. Due to the incident, one side of the road remained closed for a long time, due to which the passersby had to face trouble.
20 years imprisonment for raping a minor
The special judge of the POCSO Act found the accused guilty of raping a minor and sentenced him to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment and also imposed a fine. Along with this, the court also passed an order to provide compensation of one lakh rupees to the victim. According to the prosecution, a minor girl living in Adhartal police station area was talking to the accused on 25 February 2023 when her mother scolded her angrily. After that she went missing from home after 9 pm. On 26 February, her missing report was lodged at Adhartal police station. The police have taken up the case under section 366. The accused seemed to be a relative of the girl who lived near her grandmother’s house, where the girl was found. The girl had gone with him to Nagpur by bus where she stayed at his house. The accused had physical relations with her several times. Whereas she had refused to have physical relations with the accused. On the basis of the statement of the minor, the police added sections 366, 342, 376, 376 (2F), 376 (3) and section 3 read with section 4 (2), 5 (L) read with section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and presented the chargesheet in the court. The case was investigated by Assistant Sub-Inspector Usha Vishwakarma. Special Prosecutor Mrs. Manisha Dubey argued on behalf of the prosecution, agreeing with whose arguments the court sentenced the accused.
Dead body found in a closed room…….
A person died in Gangamaiya Subhash Nagar under Ranjhi police station. The cause of death is unknown. Police have registered a case and started investigation. According to information received from Ranjhi police station, 50-year-old Santosh Yadav, a resident of Gangamaiya Subhash Nagar, lives on rent at Himanshu Kushwaha’s house. Santosh Yadav used to do puja near Kali temple in Gangamaiya. Yesterday, Santosh Yadav’s door was closed and a foul smell was coming from outside. When the landlord Himanshu Kushwaha peeped through the window, he found Santosh Yadav lying on the ground. Police reached the spot after getting information, conducted Panchnama proceedings, sent the body for post-mortem, registered a case and started investigation.
