Dubai Mall announces paid parking
On Wednesday, Dubai Mall has informed that paid parking service will be started. This service will be started from July 1 in collaboration with Salik Company. It has been told that the new paid parking service will be started in Grand Parking, Cinema Parking, and Fashion Parking of Dubai Mall.
Free parking facility will be available for a few hours during weekends
Officials informed that during the weekend, drivers will be given free parking for the first four hours. After this, they will have to pay between Dh20 and Dh1,000 for parking. The first 6 hours during the weekend will be free and then they will be charged on hourly basis.
It has been told that the fee will not be paid through tickets but through vehicle plate recognition. Automatic number plate recognition and radio frequency identification (RFID) technology will be used in this.
