Diarrhea outbreak is increasing in Jabalpur, after Sihora, the situation in Kundam has worsened

Jabalpur. Diarrhea outbreak is spreading in the rural areas of the district. Earlier, complaints were coming from only one area, but now diarrhea cases are coming from Kundam, Baghraji to Patan. So far, a total of about 4 dozen cases have been reported. The district administration has issued an advisory for the health department. At the same time, the CMHO office claims that the situation is under control. The worst situation is in Hardi Pani Gram Panchayat of Kundam. Here 1 person has died of diarrhea. At the same time, 9 new patients have been reported in the last 24 hours. It is worth noting that before this, a person also died of diarrhea in Bhandara village of Sihora.

It is being said that these are the figures that were recorded. It is being claimed that the ground situation is even more dire. No one knows the number of patients who did not even reach the hospital or health centre. According to a survey, more than half a dozen deaths have occurred and more than a hundred diarrhea patients are still active. The way the conditions of rain and flooding have developed in the rural areas, the possibility of the situation becoming even more dire is increasing.

Deaths are happening continuously

It is worth noting that two weeks ago, two people including a woman and a two-year-old child died of diarrhea, while about a dozen people are hospitalized. Before that, on July 4, a person died in Jabalpur. These incidents took place in Sihora Bhandar village. After which a temporary hospital was built in the village panchayat bhawan. A door-to-door survey work was also done in the village. After which the situation came under control here. But the same situation is being seen in other rural areas as well.

However, the district health department is sending BLO teams to the villages where complaints of diarrhea are being reported. Health camps are also being organized there. A special advisory has been issued for awareness. It is also being promoted through social media.
