Gold smuggler arrested at IGI airport worth Rs.78.58 lakh
Four Indian citizens have been arrested on charges of gold smuggling at Indira Gandhi International Airport. Customs officials have informed that during the investigation campaign, four Indians have been arrested on charges of gold smuggling and gold worth lakhs was recovered from them.
The accused had come from Dubai
In this case, the officials have informed that the accused had come from Dubai and such incidents are common. Gold worth Rs 78.58 lakh has been recovered from them. The gold found with them weighs 1200 grams. The accused has been arrested under the Customs Act, 1962. Further investigation is being done in this case.
