Demand for ban: All India Muslim Personal Law Board raised questions on the film

.. the most shocking thing It is that the Censor Board of India has permitted the screening of this absurd, misleading, communal, inflammatory and defamatory film which defames a community of the country.

Dr. Ilyas said, This film has raised questions on the impartiality of the censor board. The title of the film, its theme, its entire story and dialogues have not only tried to tarnish the image of Indian Muslims, but the film has also defamed Islam. It has directly attacked the teachings of Islam.

Demand for ban

They said, The Board considers a film like ‘Humare 12’ to be misleading, communal, inflammatory, false and defamatory, prejudicial to the integrity and harmony of the country, and Islamophobic.

Tampering with Quranic verses

The spokesperson of the Personal Law Board said that the image of Islam and Muslims has been distorted in Indian films many times, but these days it seems as if there is a flood of such defamatory films. In Kerala Story and Kashmir Files, Muslims have been portrayed as terrorists and Islam as a religion promoting terror. Now this film tries to distort a verse of the Holy Quran to prove that a woman is a worthless creature in Islam.

The government itself is saying that the population has decreased

He further said that the reality is that the census data released by the government for the last several decades shows that the birth rate of Muslims is decreasing very fast and continuously. But on the contrary, films like Hamare Barah are increasing the fear in the hearts of the majority of people that Muslims are increasing the population.

Dr Ilyas demanded an immediate ban on the malicious, fabricated and Islamophobic film ‘Humare 12’ and prosecution of the producer, director and actors of the film for hurting the religious sentiments of a class.
