Passengers travelling at Dubai International (DXB) will soon be able to check their registration status at smart gates before they even arrive at the airport. The facility is a result of an agreement between the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) Dubai and Dubai Airports. The agreement aims to provide the best services to passengers and establish Dubai Airports as a global leader in premium services.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of GDRFA, and Paul Griffiths, CEO of Dubai Airports, were also present at the agreement signing ceremony.
New Service: Check Registration Status Online at Smart Gates
Under this partnership, a link will be provided on the Dubai Airports website through which passengers will be able to check their registration status at the smart gates online. This service will help passengers to be informed before they reach the airport’s passport hall, thereby making the flow of traffic smoother and faster.
IMPROVE SAFETY AND COOPERATION
This agreement will promote collaboration between security systems through an electronic link between the two parties, thereby improving the efficiency and security of security operations at airports.
