Labourer beaten to death on suspicion of eating beef


Charkhi-Dadri. Police has arrested five people of Gau Raksha Dal for beating a migrant worker to death on suspicion of eating beef in Charkhi-Dadri district of Haryana. Two teenagers involved in the case have also been arrested. A senior police officer said that the worker has been identified as Sabir Malik from West Bengal and this incident took place on 27 August.
Police said on Saturday that two labourers were brutally beaten up in Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri district on suspicion of eating beef. In this case, Sabir Malik, a resident of West Bengal, has died, while another is seriously injured. Five people of the accused cow protection group have been arrested in this case. According to a senior police officer, Sabir Malik was murdered on August 27.
The accused called the laborer on some pretext
The official also said that the accused members of the Gau Raksha Dal had beaten the labourer badly on suspicion of eating beef, leading to his death. The accused Abhishek, Mohit, Ravinder, Kamaljit and Sahil had called the victim Sabir Malik to a shop on the pretext of selling empty plastic bottles and later beat him badly.
Two teenagers are involved in the case
He said when some people intervened in the matter, the accused took Sabir Malik to another place and beat him again, leading to his death. All five accused in the case have been arrested and two other juveniles have also been apprehended.
